  1. NOTE: Sometimes viewers post a comment on an archived swap that is so far back, I doubt anyone will see it. Perhaps this confuses things, but I have started posting them second-handedly here, on the Comments page. Also, to help keep the Informal Swap page uncluttered, I am posting people's comments here instead of there. Honi

  3. Well, I'm down here in sw Florida and we got hit extremely hard by Hurricane Irma. Still no power, but we have just started to receive mail. Thank you for the wonderful twinchies Davida, Susan A , Rebecca, Sammy, Kathie M, Mary U, Kathy M, Ellen, and Beau! I love them all! Really made my day!

  4. Honi, thanks so much! I saw on Instagram that Susan and Christie are ok. Thank goodness! We live so remote that they're predicting the 23rd for power to be returned. Not holding my breath, lol. We do have a generator, just enough to run fridge and fan and tv for football *of course, haha) all window a/c units are sold out everywhere. I'm painting out my discomfort outside trying to catch a breeze! :)

Thanks so much! Just now realizing how extra horrible that storm was, after driving around and seeing so much damage. Slowly getting back to normal :)

Those interested in a theme- or media-specific one-on-one trade are welcome to check the listings (tab at top of Home page) for individual mail art swaps. Feel free to post a new message on the WANNA TRADE page at any time. Thanks. Honi

  6. Thank you, Joann, for "Hurry Along, Harvey". My husband and I love it so much we are framing it with your letter and hanging it up in our home. I was so touched. You don't know how much it means to us. There are still homes under water and major roads closed. Seems the news has moved on, but we are working hard to repair our homes and businesses. Many thanks. Leah

  8. Of interest: Beau has just pointed out that, if you want to review your mail art history over the past five years (or less), or if you want to see all of your favorite mail artist's work on this site, you can go to the SEARCH box about 3/4 of the way down on the right side of the Home page (It's just below the MMSA square logo.) and type in a name (usually just a first name), or an art topic, etc. At the bottom of each page, click on the "Next Page" prompt to continue. Have fun wandering down memory lane! Honi

  20. Thank you Lois M., for your sweet "white on white" postcard that arrived at my house recently. I love the glitter, ripples, texture and paint design. I found the challenge difficult, but I am loving the different cards I got and who knew white could come in so many hues. Thank you again and be well, Ellen MikaBrown

  25. Hi Kathy M., Thank you for sending me the TREES group swap post card that came back to you because the intended recipient's address was obliterated in transit. The postal sorting machines must have been hungry. I will send it, again, to An M. S. with hopes it will get there, this time :) Honi

  32. Thank you Inta, for your wonderful altered Rolodex card. I love the array of postage stamps. I think we have discussed once before how much we both love using them on our cards. I am so happy to have this card. Be well and happy swapping.

  34. ATTENTION: Some of the Just Paint post cards will be received with the sender's return address covered with a white label. My postmistress informed me that the automated machines "read" the mail from the bottom up (That's why we keep the bottom 1/4" clear), and then they sort accordingly. If return addresses are placed at the bottom left of our art, we may very well receive our own art back. The correct placement of return addresses is in the UPPER left hand corner. Just so everyone knows :) Honi
