  1. NOTE: Sometimes viewers post a comment on an archived swap that is so far back, I doubt anyone will see it. Perhaps this confuses things, but I have started posting them second-handedly here, on the Comments page. Also, to help keep the Informal Swap page uncluttered, I am posting people's comments here instead of there. Honi

  2. Of interest: Beau has just pointed out that, if you want to review your mail art history over the past five years (or less), or if you want to see all of your favorite mail artist's work on this site, you can go to the SEARCH box about 3/4 of the way down on the right side of the Home page (It's just below the MMSA square logo.) and type in a name (usually just a first name), or an art topic, etc. At the bottom of each page, click on the "Next Page" prompt to continue. Have fun wandering down memory lane! Honi

  10. DON'T THROW OUT YOUR 2017 CALENDARS: I'm planning a group swap for late January involving bits of calendars (any size- dash board, pocket planners, desk or wall calendars)- just the numbers and squares or rectangles, not the pictures. Wanted to give potential participants a heads-up :) Honi

  20. Visibility Opportunities: I recently asked RUBBERSTAMPMADNESS (a wonderful publication since the 1980's) about announcing MMSA to their readers. They agreed to post it on "our bulletin board section. It's a free service we offer to connect stampers to available art options!" That will be in the Jauary 2018 issue. They might even mention us on their Facebook page. (I also put up a calling card with MMSA info on it, on a college bulletin board at a nearby craft show.) We may be welcoming some more new participants in 2018! Honi

  26. Thank you Nancy S., for the wonderful knee socks postcard. It took me back to high school. I am dating myself, but we were not allowed to wear jeans or long pants. I had to keep my knobby knees warm somehow, so I always had on knee socks and when it snowed, several pairs inside my boots! I love the card. It makes me smile. Best wishes for a joyful holiday season and a peaceful 2018.

    1. I can relate to "no jeans or pants" in high school, too. I didn't learn until a decade later that knee socks over tights would help to keep one warm in winter as well! Honi
